Suppliers to any LAPFAG Member can apply for Approved Supplier status, supplier needs to become nominated by a LAPFAG Member. In the nomination the Member will be certifying that the supplier has fulfilled all supply obligations minimum of three months.
Applications are considered by the LAPFAG Management Group and ratified by the whole membership. If two or more Members object on the grounds of some unacceptable supply performance the application would be unsuccessful.
As a LAPFAG Approved Suppliers
- Receive an Approved Supplier certificate.
- Receive a LAPFAG logo card with authority to use the logo to your best advantage.
- Be recommended to LAPFAG Members.
- Have opportunity to participate in working groups in development of recommended specifications and advisory papers.
- Be able to obtain advice on public sector matters, such as Best Value procedures, procurement regulations and similar.
- Have opportunity to display advertising brochures at exhibitions seminars attended by LAPFAG Officers.
- Participate in LAPFAG sponsored exhibitions and seminars including the opportunity to give topical presentations.
- Have company details published on the LAPFAG Website.
- Through the LAPFAG Website have access to a list of all LAPFAG members with addresses, contact names and telephone numbers.
- Have opportunity to advertise on the LAPFAG Website.
- Have opportunity to place articles and features on the LAPFAG Website.
- Be able to advertise job vacancies on the LAPFAG Website.
