Experience gained by the large numbers of members, using different profile systems and associated products on just about every style of window and door in a vast range of applications in the public sector puts LAPFAG in a unique position. LAPFAG is not just the only public sector organisation with a wealth of experience in the industry, but it is the only organisation willing to share the benefit of that experience with all public sector bodies and LAPFAG Approved Suppliers.

LAPFAG activities include sponsorship, since 1989 of Windowfab exhibitions which concentrate on the public sector. Working groups address and report on a range of i ssues important to Members and Approved Suppliers. Members and Approved Suppliers are free to put forward topics suitable for research and consideration by LAPFAG working groups.

In 2003 LAPFAG launched it's first Website for the benefits of Members, Approved Suppliers and the public sector generally. In May 2004 a new more powerful interactive Website went live offering many new features for all users.
